Who: Incoming 11th & 12th graders (with a pastoral letter of recommendation)
What:
For 2000 years young men and women have sought to know God more deeply, love him more fully, and serve him more whole-heartedly through intense times of serious study, preparation, and prayer. The Veritas Theology Institute continues this rich tradition with an 8-day college prep experience at Huntington University including reflection on the Gospel of Luke, studying the writings of ancient theologians, and service to the community.
- Train theologically informed and socially engaged leaders in the Church and society.
- Challenge those students to encounter Jesus personally.
- Equip students to think theologically about Jesus and His call on their lives, as it is expressed in their personal identities, vocations, and in their relationship with a local church.
- Mentor students as they pursue lives of holistic intentionality for Jesus.
