Growth Groups

It is our vision at Ephrata Community Church that everyone would be saved, rooted, and grounded in Jesus Christ. We also understand that none of us drift toward spiritual growth. It doesn’t just happen automatically for any of us. Therefore, our Growth Groups are intentionally designed as a tool for you to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ.

The Growth Groups run throughout the year in three semesters – spring, summer, and fall – covering a variety of topics. We invite you to take a step and commit to a Growth Group that will further equip you to live a victorious and fruitful Christian life.

Impacting the Seven Spheres of Society

There are some words we hear a lot in the Church: mission, calling, world changer, and discipleship. How do they all fit together? What does it mean to be called by God into a sphere of society? How does the seven spheres of society teaching lead to the discipling of nations, and what role can you play in that?

In this 6-week session we will look at the whole idea of the seven spheres and personal vocational callings as a way of doing missions. If you ever wanted to engage with the seven spheres teaching—both at the nation-making level and, more practically, at the level of your daily life—you will love this study.

Living as “conquerors through Christ who loved us” is a challenge for men, especially since every man faces sexual temptations. Living in purity is more rewarding and life-giving than anything you can imagine.

This series explores the strongholds that keep men in bondage and will highlight why trying harder has not, and will not, work.
