It takes approximately 300 people to make our weekend services run smoothly.

Below is a list of current openings during our weekend services. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Each role is different, but they are all equally important. Click on a title to learn more about that Serve Team and to sign up.
Join a Team
As part of the Audio Tech team, you will help set an atmosphere that is pleasing and enjoyable. A good mix of the audio brings understanding of the spoken word and the engagement in praise and worship.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Be willing to serve the pastor or speaker
- Have good ears to hear and EQ sound
- Be comfortable working with a digital mixer
- Enjoy listening to contemporary music

As part of this team, you get to enhance relational connections by providing delicious drinks and pastries to people! What an important role you get to play in helping people connect with one another.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Be friendly and work well with people
- Be eager to learn and follow procedures for making hot and cold drinks with excellence
- Be neat and clean, be polite to everyone, learn Square Point of Sale software.

As part of this team, you get to play a vital part in setting the atmosphere of what people will see at our weekend services. You also play a part in getting the message out to the lobby, nursing mother’s room, and out to the nations when we are live streaming the service.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Be alert at all times
- Have a steady hand

As part of this team, you get to be one of the friendliest first impressions as people enter our church doors! What an incredible role you get to play as you soften the hearts of so many, establishing an environment for them to encounter Jesus.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Welcome each person with a smile, eye contact, and appropriate comment or gesture (handshake, hug, warm greeting)
- Be familiar with our church ministry areas in order to help others build a connection
- Have the willingness to assist ushers if needed in accommodating the needs of people

As part of the Kingdom Kids team, you will take a supportive role to parents by providing age-appropriate care and biblical teaching for all children from nursery to grade 4. Team members have many different opportunities from cuddling and comforting babies, to teaching elementary kids how to grow in their relationship with Jesus, to assisting guests in checking in their children.
Any role involving the direct oversight and or spiritual development of students also requires:
- Compliance with PA background checks if over 18 years of age
- Parental permission if between the ages of 12 and 17
- That you be a member of Ephrata Community Church if you are a teacher.

As part of this team, you get to help set the atmosphere in our worship service. Visual learning is an important part of how we communicate.
We have the capability to train volunteers in the realm of more in depth of a lighting rig however Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Be comfortable with computers
- Have an eye for details and a creative mind to fix small lighting issues
- Keep a positive attitude and enjoy what they are doing

As part of this team, you get to use your creative skills in relating what is happening in our services to those in our community. Your role is important in capturing the heart of what God is doing so others can encounter God by watching live or at a later date.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Have an eye for mixing multiple cameras
- Be a multi-task person

As part of this team, you get to help set the atmosphere in our worship service. You will help people engage with God in the songs we sing. Visual learning is an important part of how we communicate.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Be comfortable with computers
- Have an eye for details and be able to follow the worship leader and the speakers as they lead songs, teach or make announcements

This team has many different avenues for you to connect and serve, including, but not limited to weekend classroom teachers, small group leaders, event and trip chaperones, mentors, childcare, and snack team members. All of these roles require:
- A heartfelt desire to see students encounter the living God and grow in their faith
Any role involving the direct oversight and or spiritual development of students also requires:
- Compliance with PA background checks
- An interview process with the student ministry pastor
- That you be at least 19 years old
- That you be a member of Ephrata Community Church

As part of this team, you get to play a vital role in helping create a distraction-free environment where people can receive all that God has prepared for them. Your role is so important because you literally get to help set the atmosphere for people to experience powerful encounters with God.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Welcome each person with a smile and eye contact, being attentive to any need
- Graciously distribute weekly worship guides and sermon notes, lead folks to their seats, collect the offering, and minimize distractions
- Be ready to attend to any special needs that occur during the service

As part of this team, you get to be one of the friendliest faces to serve guests and attenders as they have questions or need to get better acquainted with our wonderful church home! What an incredible role you get to play in being a helpful presence for those who have questions.
Individuals who would like to serve on this team are required to:
- Greet each person that approaches with a smile, eye contact and, “Welcome, how may I assist you?”
- Be familiar with the church ministries and the building in order to answer questions, provide direction, and assist in signing up for upcoming events
- Be efficient in navigating the church website in order to confidently provide resourcing

We envision an ever-maturing and an ever-expanding community of passionate worshippers who desire to use their gifts, talents, skills, and abilities to increase and advance the Kingdom of God in our region and beyond.

- Fill out a Worship Ministry Application and drop it off at the Welcome Center

As part of our growing worship ministry, we're preparing to launch a monthly Worship Choir. If you love singing and would enjoy being a part of this prophetic chorus, we'd like to hear from you. The choir will serve the first weekend of each month for all services, and will participate in 1 rehearsal the week prior. Worship Choir is open to anyone age 15 and up. Please submit an interest form to get connected.
