GRADES 5–12

Encounter 56

GRADES 5-6

The goal for all students in Encounter 56 is threefold - to encounter God, build strong relationships, and secure their identity as a child of God.

Encounter 56 meets weekly during our weekend services. Additionally, we gather together once a quarter for a fun event that enables students to build relationships with their peers. We also offer an annual retreat to encounter God and build relationships.

Weekly Gatherings

During our weekend services, 5th or 6th grade students will be dismissed to their class following a corporate time of worship in song in the auditorium.

During a typical class time, your child can expect to meet new friends, complete a hands-on activity, and engage with a life-transforming message from the Bible. Your child will also have the opportunity to engage with the teaching received in class throughout the week. We strategically create reading guides to help your child develop a daily habit of being in the Word of God. Those who consistently participate will receive credit that can be redeemed for some pretty awesome prizes!

At the conclusion of the service, students in Encounter 56 will be released to quietly find their parents.

Reminder

5th and 6th Grade students do need to stop at a Check-In station for an ID tag but do not have to be picked up by a parent at the end of service.

We look forward to hosting your child in Encounter 56!

Encounter Youth

GRADES 7-12

The goal for all students in Encounter Youth is to experience a healthy community of their peers and be encouraged to grow in their faith in Jesus.

During our weekend services at ECC, 7-12 grade students remain in the service with their parents.

The 7th–12th grade student body gathers most Sunday nights from 6:00 p.m.–8:30p.m. at ECC in the old auditorium. At a typical Encounter Youth meeting, your child can expect to meet new friends, study the Word of God, be encouraged by their small group leaders, and spend time worshipping Jesus through music. We will end the night with a tasty snack and plenty of time to socialize with friends. We invite you to come out and experience the power of a life-giving community!

In addition to our weekly meetings, we have other activities, group events, and mission trips available for students. Check out all of the upcoming opportunities on the student event calendar.

Parents are always welcome to come to our weekly meetings a see what we are all about! We recognize parents have an unrivaled place of influence in their child’s life and we seek to support was is already being taught in your home.

We look forward to meeting your child and welcoming them into a healthy community where they can encounter Jesus!
